Should these ballots count for Norm Coleman?

Here's a video from the Uptake detailing some of the ballots the Coleman campaign is claiming should count for Coleman.

I'm leaning toward "you've got to be kidding me."

"Why should you be surprised?"  After all: Have the Republicans not demonstrated time & time again that they will stop at nothing, no matter how ludicrous, to win?  Starting with: "Let's not bother with a recount at all" (The law be damned)... Continuing with "Throw out the absentee ballots that contain some minor clerical oversight such as a middle initial not being included" (Voter intent be damned)...  And finishing up  with the ever popular "This person obviously WANTED to vote for Coleman because they voted for McCain, but MISTAKENLY voted for Franken, so let's just throw it the hell out, and call it a day, OK?" (Voters are obviously too STUPID to know what they were doing, so screw 'em!)

Is it any wonder that the vast majority of thinking citizens are recoiling in abject revulsion to the GOP?  Is it any wonder that the GOP brand is in full-scale retreat and forming circular firing squads at virtually every level of the party?

I'm thinking...NOT!!!

This is outrageous.  Norman you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Insulting! (0.00 / 0)
This type of challenge is insulting to the judges who sit on the State Canvassing Board.

That's all I have to say about that.

Why not give it a try? (0.00 / 0)
Since Democrats always moan and groan that Independence Party candidates "steal" the "rightful" votes of Democratic candidates, maybe you should claim Barkley votes for Franken during the recount.

Bruce, is that you talking about those ballots?   Ha ha.  Chances of that are slim and none but I thought I'd throw that out there so I can look weird.

Really, those ballots should not be challenged. Also, it is too bad the canvassing board didn't allow the absentee ballots into the count.  I believe that if they decide for Norm it is a huge public statement. Al might not get over it, even with challenges in court.  Even if the voters really chose Al and the clerk forgot to write on the envelope, etc. Hopefully the Senate will hear our true voice and take our true pick.

Dang.  Voter intent!  Voter intent!
