And, Republicans offered alternatives to redirect spending to shovel-ready transportation projects that are proven to create jobs and to small business and family tax relief with a history of getting an economy going. Our alternative would have created twice the jobs at half the cost.
Everybody remember that Six Degrees of Separation and Kevin Bacon stuff? I told Avidor he oughta do a "Six Degrees of Separation between Michelle Bachmann and Joe McCarthy." I swear, sometimes I think Michelle Bachmann is the Ghost Of McCarthy Returned.
Of course, it's entirely possible she's simply batsh*t crazy.
