(Subcaucusing is easier when it's just the Senate race to worry about, no? :-)  I for one will be interested to see who this undecided half-delegate ends up supporting in Rochester in June. - promoted by Joe Bodell)

Today in Houston County we held our convention.  Congressman Walz spoke briefly about FISA and earmarks and ethics.  We then elected sub-caucuses which were

Support of Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer for Senate
Support of Al Franken for Senate
Undecided support for Senate Candidate

The way we send delegates to the state convention is that we elect 8 delegates who each half 1/2 a vote at the State Convention, we also elected 8 alternates to fill in when needed.

The delegate breakdown is as follows (in actual delegates attending, and then votes assigned)

Nelson-Pallmeyer 3 Delegates (1.5 votes)
Franken 2 Delegates (1 vote)
Undecided 3 delegates (1.5 votes)

I am one of the 3 undecided delegates, so I'm expecting calls from the two Senate campaigns all the way until June, should be interesting.

I am now also a member of the Houston County DFL Executive Committee as the Affirmative Action Officer, and I am also the male alternate to the State Central Committee.
