Nobel Prize Winner Considering Senate Runby: Joe BodellSun Feb 18, 2007 at 20:52:13 PM CST |
| In the wake of an award-winning satirist and a big-name lawyer getting into the race, another individual from outside the inner echelons of politics may get into the picture.

Sources have confirmed that the Agre would likely not enter the race as a front-runner, but there is some precedence for candidates coming from the medical field to run. Veterinarian Ford Bell met with some success among DFL activists in running for the U.S. Senate, and a small number of physicians have served in Congress in recent years. |
