Kevin Smith, who unsuccessfully sought the DFL nod against Jim Ramstad last year, is one of the mystery candidates considering a run.
The other is *Mary O'Connor*, who is thinking of running as a Libertarian if she can get 1,000 signatures. Not a very polished speaker, but got applause by calling Iraqi oil "their oil, and we can buy it from them at their price." Let Israel/Palestine be Palestine, and let Israelis live there too. Uhh....huh. Train wreck at the end.
Potential Green Party candidate as well -- Amy Alexander. Where have I heard I heard this name before? Hmm. Saying we support "occupation of Palestine." Another not-very-polished speaker. Running out of time and getting screechy. |
